Party Kit Hire Terms & Conditions

  1. All Party Kit equipment is owned by and remains the property of Party Smarty Chippenham (“Owner”).
  2. Payment in full plus a refundable deposit is required before your booking can be confirmed. Deposits are as follows:
    1. Tableware kit - £10 deposit
    2. Additional items – dependent on booking
  3. You may cancel the booking at any time prior to the start date of your hire. A cancellation charge of 50% of the deposit will be due should you cancel with less than 7 days notice. The full deposit will be kept if you cancel within 24 hours of the hire start date.
  4. In the unlikely event that the Owner is unable to fulfil your booking due to circumstances beyond their control the Owner’s liability is limited to the refund of all monies paid.
  5. You are responsible for the Party Kit equipment for the duration of the hire period and adequate care should be taken, especially of items which can be easily damaged such as table linen and decorations.
  6. Metal cutlery must not be used on the plastic partyware as this can cause excessive damage. Plastic cutlery is included in the hire kit.
  7. No responsibility can be accepted for injury which occurs during the use of the Party Kit equipment. (Please note that some equipment comes with its own usage and care instructions.)
  8. All Party Kit equipment is washed in a domestic kitchen / dishwasher where allergens may be present. If you have any concerns about allergen contaminants please wash equipment prior to use.
  9. The Party Kit should be returned within 36 hours of the hire start date or by the date agreed in writing at the time of booking.
  10. Kit items must not be used to heat food, or be placed in a microwave or an oven.
  11. You will be eligible for a full refund of the paid deposit when the Party Kit has been returned on time, complete and undamaged.
